Cult Awareness for Parents

This is the time of year, cult recruiters infiltrate youth groups, youth retreats, and youth conventions seeking new recruits. And they will stop at nothing to fill vacant spots.

Parents must be aware of cults (cleverly disguised as ministry schools) and their recruiting practices.

Signs to look out for:

• love-bombing, love-bombing, love-bombing; special attention given to your teen by the recruiters; ongoing pressure to sign up

• unreasonably high tuition fees with false claims of being a school--however, they are not accredited academic institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (the student is exploited instead; the student pays to be free labor for the ministry or church)

• no dating allowed the first year; then, every aspect of dating, including who the student is allowed to date, is controlled by the leaders

• ultra strict dress code rules for females; they are shamed for their anatomy

• strict and very limited visitation rules for family members

• phones banned when leaders dictate

• boot camps to break wills to submit to leaders and their indoctrinations

• punishments for rule infractions

• etc

These programs are NOT accredited schools, colleges, or universities!

These cults have infiltrated churches across America.

Don't be misled.

Protect your children.
