It’s countdown time to my book’s release date: April 16, 2019!
Eleven years ago I was morbidly obese with high blood pressure, heart disease and prediabetes. . .and I did not do what everyone typically does to lose weight.
Instead, I took my passion for art and created an online art exhibit using my overweight body as the canvas and food as the paint.
I lost 100 pounds, got rid of my food addictions and health issues. . .and then I went back to school to study nutrition. Now, I help everyone become escape artists—so they too—can escape unhealthy food addictions and get their health back.
Why did I write it?
I wrote it because I wish there had been a book such as it when I was a kid. It would’ve saved unnecessary pain and suffering for my then-and-now family.
I also wrote it as a practical resource for anyone who is trying to understand and help someone caught in the addiction: parents, teachers, coaches, clergy, youth workers, counselors, physicians, friends, and significant others.
It is possible to be free from food that leads to poor health.
My book will show you the way to that long term freedom!
You may pre-order Starved to Obesity on Amazon or Barnes & Noble—or buy it on April 16 wherever books are sold.
My story has never been about fashion or glamour. Instead, I’ve been on a quest never to depend on psyche meds, blood pressure-lowering meds, diabetes meds, cholesterol meds, over-the-counter meds for colds and coughs; to be able to move with ease free of joint aches and pains; to be able to fly unencumbered by size; to be able to paint when I’m in my 80s & 90s; to be free of multiple doctor appointments; to be free of brain fog; to save thousands upon thousands of dollars. . . AND to remain free of foods that used to control my every waking moment!
If you need help, please read my book.
Addiction to the Standard American Diet—the foods that most Americans eat—can be a thing of your past!
“If you eat the same foods that most Americans eat, you will get the same disease that most Americans get.” -Joel Fuhrman, M.D.
Here’s to freedom to all!
Emily Boller, artist, mother, and author of Starved to Obesity, lost 100 pounds more than fifteen years ago by eating an abundance of high-nutrient, plant-rich foods. Today, she’s certified in whole plant nutrition from the Nutritarian Education Institute. She’s on a mission to combine practical, no-nonsense and cost-effective tips—with easy to understand science—in order to help anyone escape the addictive grip of the Standard American Diet. And now, she’s on a mission to bring awareness to the suffocating and potentially deadly trap of eating disorders as well.
